Bloomberg: Former Binance executive says fired after raising concerns about colleagues allegedly soliciting bribes
On November 28th, according to Bloomberg, a former Binance Holdings Ltd. executive sued the cryptocurrency exchange in the UK, alleging that a colleague demanded bribes from clients in order to give them preferential treatment. Former Binance Holdings Ltd. executive Amrita Srivastava stated in labor court that she was unfairly dismissed after raising concerns about alleged bribery. She claimed that the colleague charged fees under the guise of "providing consulting services" to accelerate the connection between clients and Binance, while pretending not to be an employee of the company. The colleague has now left the company. Binance lawyer stated that the company is aware of this incident and that she lost her job due to poor performance. Binance stated in a statement, "The decision to terminate employment due to poor performance was made earlier than her concerns about the issue, which was already known to our internal audit team and is currently under investigation
