Dakota proposes to establish digital assets and precious metal reserves
According to Decrypt, the North Dakota legislature has proposed a resolution aimed at "investing some state funds in digital assets and precious metals. Resolution 3001 aims to curb the impact of inflation on the finances by diversifying the assets invested in the state. The resolution states: "Given the constantly changing economic situation and emerging investment opportunities, prudent investment of national financial resources is required." It is worth noting that although the resolution encourages investment in digital assets, it does not specifically mention Bitcoin. North Dakota Representatives Nathan Toman, Matthew Heilman, Jared Hendrix, Daniel Johnston, SuAnn Olson, and Todd Porter, as well as Senators Jeff Barta and Bob Paulson, proposed the resolution. Early this morning, New Hampshire proposed a bill to establish a "strategic Bitcoin reserve".
