According to Foresight News, EigenLayer announced that Infura, a subsidiary of Consensus, is implementing EigenLayer's Slashing mechanism to provide economic security for blockchain infrastructure and create a decentralized RPC market through its decentralized infrastructure network (DIN). DIN AVS mainly serves as the economic and verification layer, used to manage user onboarding, execute SLA, and coordinate pledge, reward, imprisonment, and punishment processes. DIN completed its first 'temporary testing network' in March 2025, successfully testing the process of nine suppliers and observers joining DIN AVS smart contracts.
