The content of HB 302 Act: ·Allow state finances to purchase Bitcoin and top digital assets, and authorize reserves to purchase up to $500 billion in Bitcoin (limited to full stop loss). ·The holding limit is 5% of the state's total funds, ensuring that Bitcoin supplements broader investments in the state. ·Mandatory US regulatory custody requires assets to be held by state controlled multi signature or through US exchange traded products to ensure maximum security and transparency. ·Effective 60 days after implementation, providing a clear operational framework for reserves and stacks.

According to Foresight News, NASDAQ listed Thumzup Media Corp has submitted a capital increase registration statement to the US Securities and Exchange Commission, raising the maximum total issuance amount of securities from $200 million to $500 million to purchase more Bitcoin. The company's board of directors has previously authorized Thumzup to allocate up to 90% of its current assets to BTC as part of its funding strategy. As of May 5, 2025, Thumzup holds 19.106 BTC with a market value of approximately $1.8 million.
