Ethereum arrives at Pectra mainnet upgrade scheduled for Epoch 364032

Pectra is the first upgrade since the Dencun upgrade in March 2024, combining two collaborative updates: the Prague execution layer hard fork and the Electra consensus layer upgrade. Pectra plans to include 11 Ethereum Improvement Proposals (EIPs). These EIPs will collectively bring key features that drive the development of Ethereum: 1) By implementing smart accounts and delegation functions, significant updates will be made to the core user experience; 2) Upgrade the pledge function to make it easier for institutions and individual investors to ensure network security; 3) Significantly improving integration with Layer 2 networks (L2) is expected to double network efficiency.
