BlockBeats News: On May 8th, according to Cointelegraph, Braden John Karony, former CEO of cryptocurrency company SafeMoon, made an out of court statement in New York at the beginning of his criminal trial, asserting his innocence.
Karony stated that he is innocent and "did not commit fraud," in response to media coverage of his trial. Karony, former CEO of SafeMoon, as well as Kyle Nagy, founder of SafeMoon, and Thomas Smith, former Chief Technology Officer, were charged in 2023 for allegedly "misappropriating and diverting millions of dollars worth of platform SFM tokens".
