NEAR: The block generation time has been increased to 600 milliseconds, and the final confirmation time is 1.2 seconds

According to Foresight News, NEAR has announced that it will officially provide a block generation time of 600 milliseconds and a final confirmation time of 1.2 seconds. The significant reduction in the time required for NEAR to generate new blocks is due to NEAR's Doomslug consensus. Building a block at the top level provides substantial finality assurance, and only malicious attacks that can be penalized can revoke the previous block. The final certainty (i.e. the time required for a transaction to become irreversible) is now 1.2 seconds, which is 10 times faster than Solana and over 600 times faster than Ethereum and L2s.
