Survey: 94% of Singaporean respondents have knowledge of cryptocurrency, but their ownership rate has dropped from 40% to 29%
BlockBeats reported that on May 22, according to the Lianhe Zaobao, the latest survey report of the Independent Reserve of the Crypto Exchange, Singapore's public awareness of cryptocurrency rose to 94%, a record high, but the actual holding rate fell to 29% from 40% last year. A survey shows that Bitcoin remains the most popular cryptocurrency asset, with 68% of cryptocurrency investors holding Bitcoin and 86% believing it has monetary properties or investment value. In addition, 53% of cryptocurrency holders plan to increase their holdings in the next year, and 17% of non holders indicate an intention to enter the market. In terms of investment methods, 61% of investors prefer to directly hold cryptocurrencies rather than investing through exchange traded funds (ETFs). The usage rate of stablecoins continues to rise, with 46% of investors having held such assets, among which US dollar stablecoins are the most popular, accounting for 83%.
