Car manufacturer DeLorean launches electric car booking NFT system on Sui

According to Cointelegraph, car manufacturer DeLorean has launched an NFT system for pre ordering electric vehicles on the Sui blockchain. Users holding the 'Build Slot NFT' will have the right of first refusal to purchase their new Alpha 5 EV electric vehicle, which is the brand's first new model launched in over 40 years. DeLorean has established an exclusive NFT trading market, supporting users to use USDC stablecoins for buying, selling, and booking eligibility. The company stated that it will upload vehicle battery health, maintenance records, and other data to the blockchain through the FLUX protocol to facilitate second-hand car transactions. The project also launches the utility token DeLorean (DMC).
