SBI Holdings and its subsidiaries invest $50 million in Circle IPO
According to The Crypto Basic, Ripple partner SBI Holdings and its subsidiary SBI Shinsei Bank announced a $50 million investment in USDC issuer Circle following Circle's initial public offering. The investment is made by SBI Holdings and SBI Shinsei Bank, each contributing $25 million, with each party holding a 50% stake. Previously, SBI established a joint venture called Circle SBI Japan KK in March 2025 with the aim of promoting the adoption and circulation of USDC in the Japanese market.
