On July 9th, according to Decrypt, hackers launched a phishing attack on a wallet containing $8.7 billion worth of Bitcoin stolen from Mt. Gox. It sent an OP-RETURN transaction to the address, which included a text message pointing to a fake Wall Street investment bank Solomon Brothers website, attempting to extract the owner's personal information.
