Larry stated that Sei is committed to expanding the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) with the goal of achieving a throughput of 5 billion gas per second. Sei has created the highest performance EVM in history through parallel execution, fast consensus, and optimized storage. In the future, EVM will be rebuilt from scratch, focusing on three major areas: consensus, storage, and execution. Giga upgrade will further enhance Sei performance by optimizing consensus mechanisms and improving network throughput. After the upgrade, Sei's TPS (transaction volume per second) is expected to double to 10000 TPS, meeting the needs of enterprise level large-scale applications.
According to Defillama data, Sei Network's TVL has grown by 85% in the past month, ranking first among all public chains.
