Subsequently, the individual removed buy orders worth up to eight figures, causing liquidation of $20 million to $30 million worth of POPCAT long positions within seconds, which were then taken over by Hyperliquid. The price of POPCAT further declined, resulting in Hyperliquid incurring a loss of approximately $4.9 million and manually closing the position.
