[Acurast Completes $11 Million Financing and Plans to Launch Mainnet] Acurast announced the completion of $11 million in financing and plans to launch its mainnet on November 17, along with the issuance of the ACU token. The project aims to enable verifiable, confidential, and tamper-proof computation through consumer-grade smartphones, utilizing hardware key attestation to ensure that only manufacturer-certified devices can connect. According to network data, approximately 150,000 phones have already connected to its network, processing around 494 million transactions and deploying approximately 94,200 services. Investors include Ethereum co-founder and Polkadot founder Gavin Wood, among others. The project team stated that devices failing to meet certification requirements cannot obtain valid and trusted attestation, and thus cannot connect to the network.
