Odaily Planet Daily News: Recently, two OpenSea users, Anthony Shnayderman and Itai Bronshtein, voluntarily withdrew their securities lawsuit against Ozone Networks (conducting business under the name OpenSea) in a federal court in Florida. Previously, Judge Cecilia Altonaga ordered OpenSea to file a motion to compel the two to arbitrate last month. OpenSea insists that it will force these two users to arbitrate and adds that the platform "intends to take swift action to compel the plaintiffs to arbitrate their claims on the agreed forum," and will appeal any rejection by the court to suspend the case. Previously, two OpenSea users filed a class action lawsuit in a federal court in Florida, USA, accusing the NFT trading platform OpenSea of selling unregistered securities contracts. Plaintiffs Anthony Shnayderman and Itai Bronshtein claim that the NFTs they purchased on OpenSea (including the once high priced Bored Ape Yacht Club series) are "worthless" due to their "illegal nature". The plaintiff cited the Wells notice disclosed by OpenSea last month as evidence. They believe that this indicates that OpenSea may face legal responsibility for promoting unregistered securities trading.
