Brevis Releases ProverNet White Paper, Proposes Decentralized Zero-Knowledge Proof Market Mechanism
On November 17, Brevis released the ProverNet white paper, proposing a decentralized zero-knowledge proof generation market mechanism based on real-time online two-way auctions. This mechanism enables efficient matching of diverse computational tasks with specialized proof hardware. ProverNet leverages collaboration experience from projects such as PancakeSwap, Uniswap, Euler, Linea, and MetaMask to address core issues in existing proof infrastructure. The mechanism will operate on the dedicated rollup Brevis Chain, with plans to officially launch by the end of 2025. Brevis stated that this will drive the transition of zero-knowledge proof services from a centralized single-supplier model to a competitive market.
