[Mario Nawfal Reveals SBF Assisted Former Honduran President in Trial Preparation]
Mario Nawfal, founder of Dubai-based venture capital firm IBC Group, revealed that SBF once helped former Honduran President Juan Orlando Hernández prepare for his trial. Hernández was sentenced to 45 years in prison last June for drug trafficking and illegal possession of firearms but was recently pardoned by Trump. SBF stated that he lived in the same prison block as Hernández for a year and a half, believed Hernández was framed, and described him as possibly the most effective anti-drug cartel leader in the world. This pardon occurred just days before Honduras' November 30 election.
