[Zcash Co-Founder and Michael Saylor Discuss Bitcoin Privacy Feature Differences]
StarkWare CEO and Zcash Co-Founder Eli Ben-Sasson revealed in a post on the X platform that during his first conversation with MicroStrategy Founder and Executive Chairman Michael Saylor, they discussed Starknet's mission and the economic development of Bitcoin. They also exchanged views on Bitcoin's privacy features. Saylor stated that Bitcoin should not adopt a privacy model similar to Zcash to avoid the risk of being banned by sovereign nations. Ben-Sasson, on the other hand, argued that privacy and key viewing could be compatible. Additionally, the two discussed the implementation of OP_CAT, with Saylor expressing concerns about changes happening too quickly, while Ben-Sasson believed that ten years of research had been sufficient and further delays were unnecessary.
