Binance founder CZ has released a guide for the custody of encrypted assets, suggesting that users allocate assets reasonably between self custody and centralized trading platforms based on their position size and technical capabilities. CZ suggests that self hosted users use offline devices to store private keys, use hardware wallets, and set up remote backups. At the same time, users of centralized trading platforms are reminded to strengthen account protection through strong passwords, two factor authentication, and whitelist withdrawal addresses, and to pay attention to asset inheritance schemes.
