1011, it's been a year. On this night a year ago, many people's entire contract accounts and lending accounts were completely wiped out, as if they never existed. This year, the U.S. stock market hit new highs and showed incredible strength, but crypto has been weak and fragile. A lot of people have asked me why, and I always respond with one sentence: this market is still paying off the debt of 1011. 1011 was undoubtedly the darkest day in the history of crypto. Compared to its 'predecessors' like 94, 312, and 519, it had no specific policy-driven bearish news, no external market influences, and no broader economic or financial context. It was pure, unfiltered, and utterly ruthless harvesting. It didn’t just drain the liquidity from this industry and market—it killed the narrative and shattered confidence. Or rather, calling it 'harvesting' isn’t even accurate. A better term would be: a complete wipeout. But we have to keep looking forward. No matter how dark it was, it’s been a year now. The entire industry, the entire market, all of us—we’ve been paying off that debt for a year. Maybe it’s time we’ve paid it off in full. Hopefully, when we commemorate 1011 this time next year, we’ll have the same optimistic mindset we had after 312, looking back at any screenshots of 1011 as the best bottom-buying opportunity of a generation. Lastly, to all the friends who made it through—respect
