CleanSpark Secures $2.276 Billion Financing to Expand Data Center, Holds 13,530 BTC and Sells 702 BTC
Odaily Planet Daily reports that Bitcoin News posted on the X platform, revealing publicly listed Bitcoin mining company CleanSpark's operational data for September: mining output of 529 BTC, sale of 702 BTC, of which 700 BTC were sold through exercising call options, and 2 BTC were sold directly on the spot market. The company holds 13,530 BTC, with an average operational hash rate of 36 EH/s and contracted power capacity of 1.8 GW. CleanSpark also disclosed that its treasury includes 3,475 BTC used as collateral for derivatives trading or recorded as receivables. CleanSpark has secured $2.276 billion in financing for the expansion of its Sandersville data center project, with related leasing agreements expected to generate approximately $6.6 billion in contract revenue. CEO Matt Schultz stated that the financing will provide full funding for the project's completion. As the company expands its business beyond Bitcoin mining, it will cease monthly Bitcoin mining updates and transition to quarterly disclosures.
