Fuguo Bank is in talks with Kraken's parent company Payward to explore the possibility of Payward providing liquidity support for Fuguo Bank's digital asset trading business. Payward will provide market depth and transaction execution support to assist Wells Fargo in expanding its cryptocurrency trading channels. In September 2026, Nasdaq invested $100 million in Payward, valuing it at approximately $21 billion, with Wells Fargo serving as the exclusive capital markets advisor for the transaction. Payward is also in talks with BNY for infrastructure cooperation covering digital asset products, custody, wealth management, trading, and payments.
