[L2BEAT Renamed ETHBEAT, Expanding Business Scope to the Ethereum Ecosystem] L2BEAT has officially changed its name to ETHBEAT, expanding its business scope from Ethereum Layer 2 to the entire Ethereum ecosystem. ETHBEAT will continue to monitor L2 while strengthening its research in areas such as privacy, interoperability, tokens, zero-knowledge proofs (ZK), and native rollups. It will also expand into the liquidity staking field in the future. ETHBEAT's research focus shifts to assessing whether Ethereum ecosystem projects inherit Ethereum's core security attributes, including censorship resistance, open source, privacy, and security, as well as the intermediaries that users need to trust. ETHBEAT launched the CROPS Guidelines, which include ecosystem projects that meet relevant principles. The organization will help users identify and reduce their reliance on intermediaries through technical research, risk assessment, open-source tools, and industry standard development.

Binance SAFU Fund transferred 7,500 bitcoins to an untagged wallet at 5:56 AM on November 3. The wallet then split the transfer into approximately 150 transactions, each containing about 50 bitcoins, with some of these transactions being merged and transferred out. This batch of Bitcoin was transferred from Binance's Secure User Asset Fund (SAFU) on October 31 to offset losses from a stolen hot wallet. SAFU currently holds slightly more than 7,500 Bitcoins, worth approximately $572 million, below Binance's $800 million rebalancing threshold. Binance has pledged to replenish SAFU to approximately $1 billion, but has not yet announced a timeline for this replenishment. On-chain data does not show the recipient address, and Binance has not explained the transfer. (Source: Bitcoin.com News)
