Sberbank has been granted permission to conduct cryptocurrency trading and will open to customers on December 1st

Sberbank has joined the register of the Bank of Russia cryptocurrency exchange and plans to open cryptocurrency trading to all customers on December 1st. It is currently testing Bitcoin, ETH, and USDT trading in the application. Related businesses are subject to regulation, and cryptocurrency payments are prohibited. Starting from July 2027, transactions must be conducted through registered intermediaries. (Source: CoinDesk)
