Stripe collaborates with Plasma to develop multi currency stablecoin cards

Stripe collaborates with Plasma to develop a multi currency stablecoin card that supports individuals and businesses to directly use the currency in their accounts to reduce exchange costs. Plasma, as a design partner, connects to the Stripe stablecoin card infrastructure and supports eligible stablecoins such as USD, Brazilian Real, Euro, Mexican Peso, Colombian Peso, USDC, and OUSD. This service currently covers more than 30 countries and plans to expand to over 100 countries by 2027. The system supports cardholders to use multiple account balances for consumption and automatically select currencies.
