[ILITY Confirms Security Incident on Network, Cross-Chain Bridge Suspended] On October 17, ILITY announced on the X platform that a security incident had occurred on the ILITY Network. The ILITY cross-chain bridge has been temporarily shut down, and the team is cooperating with law enforcement agencies, cryptographic forensics experts, and investors to investigate. The amount of loss or details of the attack have not yet been disclosed. On-chain analyst Specter observed that a certain wallet transferred approximately 35,700 ZEC (valued at around $41 million at the time) out of a privacy pool, subsequently routing it through NEAR Intents and multiple addresses to the Bitcoin and Ethereum networks. The tracking suggests that the related addresses are linked to the ILITY cross-chain bridge and indicates that approximately 4.1 million ILY tokens flowed out from the bridge. Due to Zcash's privacy features, it has not yet been confirmed whether this ZEC constitutes stolen funds or its exact connection to the ILITY incident.
