When will the BTC pullback end? This week's trend is key: As early as my tweet on September 13, 2025, I mentioned that Bitcoin's bull market was nearing its end, and the best buying opportunities would be in Q3 and Q4 of 2026. At the end of June and early July, I suggested a possible bottom at 58,000, and shortly after, BTC dropped to 57,800 before making a V-shaped rebound. I maintain my early July view—this rise starting from 57,800 is the first wave of weekly-level upward movement in this cycle. Under this path, the drop from 87,395 can be seen as a pullback targeting the black segment of weekly-level upward movement in Chart 1. The blue segment of the drop is either part of or the entirety of this pullback. If it's the entirety of the pullback, a new weekly-level upward movement has already started at 79,800. Under this path, we need to see strong upward momentum next, such as breaking through and stabilizing above 85,100. Before we see strong upward momentum, we temporarily consider the blue segment of the drop as part of the pullback, and the rise starting from 79,800 as a rebound against it. Support below can be referenced at 80,450–80,700. As long as the daily candlestick body doesn't break below this range, the upward momentum remains intact. If the blue segment is only part of the pullback, BTC may continue to adjust after the rebound from 79,800 ends this week or next week. The entire weekly-level pullback starting from 87,395 may end as early as late October or early November, after which BTC will resume its upward trend and break through 87,395. If the movement starting from 79,800 turns out to be a strong rebound, the endpoint of the entire weekly-level pullback may appear in the second week of November. Under this path, BTC will continue to rise and break past the previous high after the adjustment ends.
