GMX introduces Builder Fees mechanism in Solana
GMX has launched Builder Fees on Solana, allowing developers to collect fees from user orders by building trading interfaces or tools. Developers must publish their fee rates on-chain, and traders must sign off on these rates in their orders. Fees are added to the standard trading fee and calculated based on position changes; for example, a $1000 increase in position at a 0.01% fee rate would incur a $0.10 fee, which is then deposited into the developer's claimable treasury. Builder Fees apply to market and limit orders for adding, reducing, and stopping-loss orders, but not to swaps, liquidations, or ADL (Alternative Limit Orders).
