Hayes: High FDV tokens no longer surge after listing on Binance; launches fair launch project Flop Labs.
In his TOKEN2049 speech, Flop Labs CEO Arthur Hayes stated that high FDV, low-circulation tokens no longer experience price surges after listing on Binance, and criticized the venture capital pre-sale model. He proposed Flop Labs' 100% fair launch plan, with no pre-sale or VC quotas, allowing users to earn FLOPs through testnet participation. The genesis airdrop will account for approximately 24.3% of the 10-year supply (approximately 4.4 billion/18.1 billion tokens), planned to launch in late October or early November 2026, with the mainnet genesis scheduled for Q1 2027. Flop Labs is personally funded by Arthur Hayes, and FLOPs are not yet traded.
