Bloomberg expands Crypto Exposure Analytics functionality to support Basel Framework compliance reporting.

Bloomberg has expanded its Crypto Exposure Analytics feature to enable institutions to identify, classify, and report exposure to crypto assets and tokenized real-world assets in accordance with the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision framework. This tool can identify direct and indirect crypto risks across funds, equities, bonds, and derivatives. Bloomberg has identified approximately 1,700 funds involved in this framework, about half of which do not explicitly list crypto exposures in their investment strategies. The analysis is available through the Bloomberg Data License and the Bloomberg Terminal, and Morgan Stanley is using it for fund penetration analysis and Basel exposure classification.
