--

Hardware wallet provider Keystone has released updates on a security incident involving 25,964 pieces of buyer personal information. The device verification keys obtained by attackers may have been used to create counterfeit devices. Keystone will destroy 18,835 devices with old keys in its inventory, suspend unshipped orders on its official website, and shorten the retention period for customer personal information from 180 days to 90 days. Devices received after October 20th using old verification keys are at risk of being counterfeit; users should contact customer service for verification.
