Multiple projects in the crypto space have been attacked, including Coinbase and Bloom.
The recent proliferation of AI tools has lowered the barrier to attack, leading to numerous attacks on projects due to reliance on third parties and personnel risks. Coinbase suffered a leak of 69,000 user information by outsourced personnel, and its $20 million ransom demand was refused. Bloom was attacked on October 26th, resulting in the loss of 9,408 SOL (approximately $947,000) from 49 wallet addresses belonging to 9 users. CoinDCX confirmed a loss of $15.99 million. MYRIAD's internal operating wallet was compromised, but no funds were lost. DotSwap V1 was attacked, resulting in a loss of 8.5 BTC. NGRAVE's third-party push service was hijacked, causing losses exceeding $2.56 million. Keystone's website was compromised, and the company plans to destroy 19,000 devices.
