Bitcoin lending protocol Zest Protocol stated that, out of an abundance of caution, it has suspended new lending operations following the Binance attack to protect users, and will resume lending services soon. Zest Protocol products have no exposure to Binance.

Trezor has stated that the Safe 5 hardware wallets sold by Southeast Asian reseller CryptoBilis have been infected with a hardware trojan capable of reading and distributing mnemonic phrases. Trezor advises users who purchased their devices through CryptoBilis after March 2026 to migrate their assets to a new wallet as soon as possible and to avoid entering their existing mnemonic phrases on suspicious devices. Trezor removed CryptoBilis from its list of official resellers on October 9th.

Standard Chartered analyst Geoffrey Kendrick said the Binance hack could accelerate DEX adoption and benefit Ethereum, while also believing that UNI's target price of $100 by 2030 may be too low.
