Coinbase and Robinhood legal executives earn over $8 million annually, leading the fintech industry

According to Bloomberg, Paul Grewal, the legal director of Coinbase, received a total salary of over $8.2 million in 2024, while Daniel Gallagher of Robinhood received $8.6 million, tied for the top spot in high paying legal positions for fintech companies. Both companies have increased executive compensation through significant stock incentives. Coinbase board member and renowned lawyer Paul Clement also received a salary of over $850000. In addition, Circle Legal Director Heath Tarbert has accumulated nearly $30 million in revenue since taking office in 2023.
