Metaplanet CEO joins forces to acquire South Korean company SGA, advancing Asia's Bitcoin reserve strategy

Odaily Daily News: Metaplanet CEO Simon Gerovich, along with Sora Ventures, KCGI, and other institutions, has formed a consortium to acquire shares of South Korean system integrator SGA through a targeted issuance, further promoting the Asian Bitcoin reserve strategy. According to regulatory approval, SGA will issue over 58 million ordinary shares to the consortium, raising approximately 34.5 billion Korean won (approximately 25 million US dollars). The new shares are expected to go public on September 24th. After the completion of the transaction, Asia Strategy Partners LLC will become the largest shareholder of SGA, with the management of SGA remaining unchanged and control transferred to new investors.
