The victims were in contact with a scammer known as "Shaw Goddess" via Telegram and, under their guidance, opened accounts on (Crypto.com) and (Strike.com). They invested over $1 million in total, but the funds were subsequently transferred to a fraudulent platform, making withdrawals impossible. Federal investigators tracked part of the stolen funds through blockchain analysis and froze the USDT in the associated addresses. The U.S. government has filed a lawsuit seeking to confiscate the funds and return them to the victims.
