[Port3 Network Attacked Due to Vulnerability in Cross-Chain Token Solution]
Port3 Network released an incident report on Platform X, pointing out a boundary condition validation vulnerability in the CATERC20 cross-chain token solution adopted by the NEXA Network. The report indicates that after token ownership is renounced, the function's return value becomes 0, which aligns with the ownership verification condition, leading to a failure in ownership checks and potentially causing unauthorized access. The audit report for CATERC20 did not mention this issue, and Port3 tokens, having renounced ownership to achieve greater decentralization, are in a vulnerable state.
