Iran and the United States reach a memorandum of understanding involving the unfreezing of 25 billion assets

According to The New York Times, Iran has agreed to a memorandum of understanding that includes suspending all frontline combat, including Lebanon, reopening the Strait of Hormuz, lifting the US maritime blockade, allowing free commercial passage, and releasing 25 billion frozen Iranian assets. The nuclear issue will be negotiated separately within 30 to 60 days.
