According to Thai media outlet Khaosod English, Thai immigration police recently arrested a 37-year-old Chinese man in Bangkok. The man was wanted by Chinese authorities for allegedly being involved in a transnational crime network and money laundering activities. Police stated that the crime network was linked to transactions exceeding 500 million RMB (approximately 2.485 billion THB). The suspect is accused of using over 133 accounts to handle cryptocurrency and foreign exchange transactions for the criminal group, as well as assisting members of the transnational crime network with visa applications. Authorities revealed that the suspect had evaded capture by forging residency documents, changing license plates, and altering the appearance of vehicles. He was eventually apprehended in a luxury mansion in Bangkok. Thai authorities will address his overstayed visa issue in accordance with the law and coordinate his extradition to China for further investigation. https://www.(wublock123.com)/news/thailand-police-arrest-chinese-fugitive-crypto-money-laundering-70256
