Meta plans to enter the stablecoin field again and has hired former Plaid executive Ginger Baker as Vice President of Products

According to Fortune, Meta is in preliminary talks with multiple cryptocurrency companies to explore stablecoin applications and lower fees by cross-border payments to creators, three years after abandoning the Libra/Diem project. Since January of this year, former Plaid executive Ginger Baker has been appointed as Vice President of Meta Products, leading related initiatives.
