DePIN project Bee Maps collaborates with ride hailing giant Lyft to provide map data

Foresight News reported that Bee Maps, the DePIN project on Hivemapper, has announced a partnership with ride hailing giant Lyft to provide them with more accurate map data. Bee Maps allows drivers to use AI enabled driving recorders to provide map data, which can automatically detect and update real-time changes on the road (such as construction areas or changing road signs), helping to maintain the latest and accurate digital maps. Bee Maps utilizes blockchain incentive mechanisms to develop real-world infrastructure through crowdsourcing. In Bee Maps, contributors who use Hivemapper cameras to collect street images can receive encrypted rewards.
