Previously reported, multiple community users have reported that their balances in the Bitcoin Lightning Network wallet Alby may have been deducted by the platform. The Alby official document, updated in March 2025, stipulates in the terms of service that "users will be notified for more than a year to withdraw excess funds from their old version Alby accounts created in 2023 or earlier using a shared wallet architecture. In order to more effectively manage these long-term inactive accounts, we reserve the right to deduct the entire remaining balance from the account after 12 consecutive months of no trading activity (i.e. no completed transactions)
