According to Finance Feeds, Türkiye's financial market regulator has taken decisive action to close access to dozens of cryptocurrency platforms, including the large decentralized exchange PancakeSwap, aimed at curbing the country's rapidly growing digital asset market. In early July 2025, the Capital Markets Board (CMB) announced that it had blocked 46 unauthorized websites providing cryptocurrency related services, citing that these websites violated the Capital Markets Act. Earlier, it was reported that Türkiye imposed a visit blockade on PancakeSwap, which was the first time that it imposed sanctions on DEX.
