According to Bloomberg, Harmonic, an AI math company co founded by Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenev, announced the completion of a $100 million Series B funding round, with a valuation of $875 million. This round is led by Kleiner Perkins, with funding from Sequoia Capital, Index Ventures, and Paradigm. The company was founded in 2023 by Tudor Achim, former CEO of Tenev and Helm.ai, with the aim of building artificial intelligence systems capable of solving complex mathematical problems, thus creating what the company calls "mathematical superintelligence". Harmonic plans to open its flagship artificial intelligence model Aristotle to researchers and the public later this year.
