Tornado Cash urgently appeals for $500000 as trial approaches
According to Golden Finance, Roman Storm, co-founder of cryptocurrency mixing service Tornado Cash, will face trial on Monday on charges of money laundering and violating sanctions laws. He posted on social platform X on Saturday, urgently requesting assistance and hoping to raise $500000 in the next few days. Storm stated that he is currently facing a "serious funding gap" and in addition to this emergency funding, he will need an additional $1 million in the coming weeks to pay for legal litigation costs.
