[Blockrise Obtains MiCAR Authorization, Launches Bitcoin Collateralized Loans and Plans to Raise €15 Million] Dutch cryptocurrency platform Blockrise announced that it has obtained authorization from the Netherlands Authority for the Financial Markets (AFM) under the EU's Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCAR), allowing it to provide Bitcoin-related services across Europe. As a service platform focused on Bitcoin, Blockrise will offer corporate clients loans collateralized with Bitcoin, with a minimum loan amount of €20,000. Clients will retain ownership of the collateralized Bitcoin, which will not be re-pledged. Previously, Blockrise completed a €2 million seed round of financing and is now planning to launch a €15 million Series A funding round to expand its EU market and credit business.
