[CryptoQuant CEO: Deriving Private Keys from Addresses May Only Be Achievable by North Korea's Lazarus Group] Regarding the theft of approximately 44.5 billion KRW (around $36 million) in crypto assets from Upbit, CryptoQuant CEO Ki Young Ju stated that the attack method disclosed by Upbit is 'almost impossible for ordinary hackers to accomplish.' Upbit claimed that the attackers might have inferred private keys by analyzing user wallet address patterns. Ki Young Ju believes this technique is extremely challenging, and if true, he suspects no other hacker group besides North Korea's Lazarus could achieve it.
