Speaking of content reposting, I want to share a little story. A few years ago, when Brain was making a video about Bitfinex lending, he specifically came to ask me if he could pay homage to the title of an article I published on Medium back then: 'Using $3 Million to Create $60K Monthly Passive Income.' He said he really liked the wording and wanted to borrow the format, asking if I’d mind. Of course, I said I wouldn’t mind—go ahead and use it. That moment left a deep impression on me. At the time, he was just a small YouTuber. Even if he hadn’t asked me, I wouldn’t have cared, since articles and videos are completely different forms of content creation, and it was just the title he wanted to reference. Later, he became one of the top YouTubers in the Chinese-speaking community, and I wasn’t surprised at all. Because people who care about content ownership are usually the ones who are truly serious creators. Since my debut, I’ve been plagiarized countless times, and I’ve always been strongly against it. In my career, the only two times I’ve publicly called out other KOLs (including this time) were both related to content reposting. Master has been professionally trolling me for years—everyone knows he’s just trying to stir up drama to harvest traffic. As for the early mistakes with trade recommendations, I’ve publicly addressed them many times. Plus, I no longer rely on traffic to make money, so his continued trash talk doesn’t affect me at all—I genuinely couldn’t care less. But this time, I decided to speak up because I’m genuinely angry about the issue of content reposting. There are already very few creators in the community who put real effort into producing quality content. If the remaining precious nutrients are consumed by our own people through reposting, the entire ecosystem will only become more barren. In my view, any KOL who doesn’t respect other content creators is trash—there’s really nothing more to say. In the era of self-media, quality traffic equals money. Stealing someone else’s content is equivalent to stealing money. Taking the painstakingly crafted words someone wrote on Threads and reposting them here on X to collect a basic income from Elon is pure garbage behavior. I hope everyone stops liking, sharing, or engaging with reposted content in the future—just report it directly. Traffic is the only reward for creators. Give it to the right people, and this community will have a future.
