Can we really afford to have 170,000 active duty US soldiers stationed in 750 foreign military bases? We have $39 trillion in debt, a $2 trillion budget deficit and 25% of US govt revenue goes to paying interest on the debt. Empires collapse because they become overextended. Has anyone considered that maybe the USA can’t afford to continue with business as usual?
