The State Internet Information Office issued a notice on the public solicitation of opinions on the Regulations on Promoting the Interoperability and Mutual Recognition of Distributed Digital Identities (Draft for Comments), aiming to promote the cross platform interoperability and mutual recognition of distributed digital identities and support the construction of the national blockchain network basic common service capability. Distributed digital identity is based on distributed technologies such as blockchain, consisting of identifiers, keys, verifiable credentials, and verifiable statements. It is used in digital account management, login authentication, data authorization, and other scenarios to solve the problem of cross regional, cross industry, and cross platform identity interoperability and mutual recognition. The deadline for feedback is July 18, 2026.
